Revert to Old Suggestion System for Enhanced Community Engagement
Declined
Why you should revert to the old Suggestion system
*The new one requires a character requirement which only makes it more difficult for players to suggest as most suggestions only need a few words
*The new one does NOT allow players to comment under other's suggestions. This makes it much harder to receive feedback and update the suggestion
*The new one requires you to go to a different area than Discord. Forcing people to go to a site instead of keeping everything on Discord makes it harder for many especially mobile users
*The old one looked much cleaner and worked a lot better. You were able to see everything as you scrolled and there wasn't any clutter. The new one is much more all over the place and doesn't show the text unless clicked on
*The old one had a lot more activity and I suspect the new one with cause a lot less interaction due to its complex nature
How to fix issues with the old one if you decide to revert
*Make old dupes be deleted after a certain amount of time, about 6 months most likely, to allow the community to change their minds
*As a dev, type anything in the posts you see or put an emoji to let us know that you have seen it. This will prevent us from believing you do not look at our posts and will tell us if the post has any opportunity of being added
*If you cannot keep track of all the tickets then have mods that place certain tickets into different folders to keep track of them. As someone that makes a lot of suggestions I know you guys get a lot especially after an update. But many of these could be sorted as they are often relating to the same things. These folders would then be looked at later to get ideas from
While this new system may be much better for you, it lessens the amount of input the community will give on certain posts as well as making the suggestions harder to add
