By keeping it at 15-30 meters, it can be more effective against rifles like the Vezin. Additionally, it also helps balance out pistols by making it an effective weapon against a spectral. The Taurus is an effective weapon, however against another weapon outside 25 meters, it becomes tough for it to keep up. The Taurus doesn't need a big buff; it just needs a small push to become viable in competitive play.
