Introducing New Zombie Types: The Screamer and The Leaper
Hey everyone! What do you think about these two new zombie ideas for towns? I think they would add more variety and a nice challenge to the game.
Suggestion 1: New NPC - "The Screamer" (Siren)
Concept: A utility zombie that alerts the horde.
Location: Spawns in towns/banks (Sleeping by default).
Mechanic: If damaged or disturbed by noise, she screams after a 1-second delay. The scream wakes up ALL sleeping zombies in a large radius.
Stats: 0.5x HP of a normal zombie, Runner's speed, normal damage.
Appearance: Ragged denim clothes, white tank top, long hair, yellow glowing eyes.
Visual/Audio Effect: When screaming, the player's screen shakes and blurs slightly (disorienting aim).
Why: Rewards stealth and headshots. If you kill her before she screams, the town stays quiet.
Suggestion 2: New Elite NPC - "The Leaper" (Stalker)
Concept: An agile, ceiling-clinging zombie for town ambushes.
Location: Only towns (1 guaranteed spawn per town). Never sleeps.
Stats:
Max HP: 0.75x of a normal zombie.
Speed: 1.15x Runner's speed.
Eyes: Red glowing eyes.
Mechanic:
Aggro: Starts with aggressive front-facing leaps (uses Tesla Coil stone-like physics).
Retreat (Tactical shift): Once his health drops to 50% of his max (0.375x of a normal zombie's HP), he immediately retreats and switches to "Stalker Mode".
Stalker Mode: From this point on, he only attacks from behind or hides on ceilings.
Ambush: Can cling to ceilings inside
buildings. He is silent except for heavy breathing when a player is directly underneath.
Appearance: Black jeans, white tank top, medium-length hair.
Why: Adds verticality and unique "low HP" behavior that forces players to hunt him down before he strikes from the shadows.
You could add both or just one of them. What do you guys think?
