Enhanced Party Management UI for Dead Rails
Better Party UI.
Dead Rails is what I would call a “Party Game” at this point, a game to play with friends, so I think it would benefit from some extra matchmaking features.
Hosts would have a UI on the right of their screen, being a list of all users in the party including actions they can do. Being “Kick” and “Ban”
Kick would pretty simply kick the users out of the lobby and back into the main lobby. Where as ban would ban the user from coming back into the lobby.
At the bottom of the list would be a “Start” button. This instantly throws everyone in the party at the time into the game.
- Creating a Party -
Before you can get to management of players in the lobby. You need to create a lobby.
In the top right would be a small X button to cancel out of creating a part. Near the top center. You would have the Gamemode selector, with a small description of what each gamemode is. For example:
“Bite Sized is a shortened version of the regular mode, cutting the map in half.”
At the exact middle bottom. You’d have a button to confirm party creation.
In the top right you could limit who joins, being 3 options.
“Everyone”
“Friends only”
“Invite only”
On everyone… well. Everyone can join. On Friends only only your Roblox connections can join. And invite only means you’d have to say yes or no to allowing people in the party.
Creating a party will now have extra time of 30s.
And party’s will now have 60s before they get forced into a game. Which goes 2x faster when the lobby is full.
