Making it so some classes can be better in the lategame
Class balancing!
A lot of classes feel useless in the lategame. I feel like all classes should have SOME use in the late game. For an example, sheriff is pointless past 40km as you are just playing the None class but you have a cowboy hat.
Another example is musician. While the healing can be OKAY in the early game due to the lack of healing items, its completely pointless in the late game, where everyone has atleast 450 bandages in their inventory.
Additionally, support classes suffer the issue where they don't feel weak in the lategame. Since the only downside to running a support class like musician is that you DONT get a shovel, by the time you get a melee weapon, you're just playing None but with an additional upside that aids your teammates.
So i propose these buffs:
Musician
- Now gains +50% healing every 10km travelled. (up to 400% bonus healing at 80km)
- Now takes +25% melee damage (but has a shovel)
- This aims to make musician more reliant on their teammates as well as making it so the healing is on-par with stuff like Bandages.
The alamo
- Now gains a 35% discount on all defensive items. (Barbed wire, Metal sheets, Maxim gun, Bear-traps)
- The alamo should be a defensive specialist right? So giving them a discount on defensive items will allow you to get more defensive items. This is especially considering most defensive items are pretty pricey.
Cowboy
- Now gains +25% income when claiming Outlaw bounty
- Now deals +25% more ranged damage against outlaws that spawn on horses.
- Cowboy should specialize in dealing with outlaws, considering that they dont really spawn that often. Doesn't effect scripted spawns, like at 80km.
Miner
- When mining ore, there is a 50% chance to gain double loot.
Hunter
- Now deals 2x damage against werewolves and unicorns, and 1.3x damage against horses.
- Now gains +25% money from selling Werewolves.
- If they are a hunter, it makes sense for them to deal BONUS damage against animals, since they are hunting them... Right? Hunter is barely used because the crossbow and bear-traps doesn't make up for the downside.
Demolitionist/Arsonist/Corrosioneer
- Now gains a 50% discount on Landmines + Dynamite / Molotovs / Acid Mines respectively.
- Every 10km you gain a Landmine/Molotov/Acid mine.
