Enhance Melee Combat with Blocking, Shoving, and Gun Bashing

Rework melee combat. Add blocking and/or shoving. Maybe gun bashing.
Blocking would work by using either right click or the left trigger while holding a melee weapon. It could be shown by having the player temporarily holding their equipped weapon in a similar angle to the banjo. And pressing attack while blocking would perform a shove, which could temporarily stun weaker enemies.
Gun bashing. By pressing both triggers at the exact same time (or both left and right click on computer) you'd perform a gun bash. From an outside perspective it could be just as simple as the player lifting their gun then lowering it quickly. It would do low amount of damage but stun the attacked enemy temporarily.
Handguns would bash using the front part if the weapon, and rifles would use the stock. The crossbow would bash using a currently loaded arrow as a bayonet.

Enemy interactions.
Shoving. Zombies: stumble backwards and growl before stumbling forward. Vampires: teleport a few feet backward. Werewolf: perform a kick in response.
Gun bash. Zombie staggers backwards, holding their face for a few seconds. Vampires take a little damage and teleport a few feet away. Werewolves take miniscule damage but don't react.
Trying to block a Werewolf attack will knock back the player but do 25% less damage. (More knockback if you jump at the same time)

These features could give players more flexibility in close range combat, and provide defensive capabilities to make combat more engaging.
