Bumping this request because it's a great system for shooting scoped rifles without a physical gunstock to stabilize your hands. My friends and I think of it like pressing a button to hold your breath while sniping in a flat game.

If it feels OP to suddenly give people the ability to stabilize their shots well, maybe give it a timer? Like you could only "hold your breath" for 5 seconds before the regular handling returns and you'd have to pull your offhand trigger again to "take another breath".
