Adjustments for Helicopter Balance and Usability in Forefront
Open
### **Proposed Balance Adjustments for the Littlebird and Transport Helicopters in *Forefront***
In order to improve balance between aerial units and infantry within the game environment, the following technical recommendations are proposed for adjustments to the *Littlebird* and *Transport* helicopter models:
1. **Pilot Action Restrictions**
Implement an operational lockout preventing pilots from performing secondary actions while flying, such as initiating self-repair procedures or using ground-based weapons (RPG or anti-air launchers). This measure aims to avoid improper use and ensure gameplay consistent with the aircraft’s intended role.
2. **Missile Countermeasure Availability Indicator**
Add a visual HUD indicator displaying the availability status of the flare or missile-defense countermeasure, allowing pilots to manage the system’s tactical usage more effectively.
3. **Automatic Repair Station at Base**
Establish an automatic repair structure at the base capable of restoring up to **40%** of the helicopter’s durability when it enters the activation radius. After use, a cooldown of at least **30 seconds** must be applied before the station can be used again.
4. **Helicopter Respawn Times**
Adjust helicopter respawn timers as follows:
* Transport Helicopter: **45 seconds**
* Littlebird Helicopter: **75 seconds**
5. **Damage Revision for Portable Launchers**
* RPG launchers will now deal **92%** damage to helicopters (reduced from 100%).
* Anti-air launchers will now deal **92%** damage (increased from 60%).
6. **Lock-On Criteria for Anti-Air Launchers**
Anti-air missile lock-on should only be permitted when the following technical conditions are met:
* Minimum distance from operator to helicopter: **30 meters**.
* Helicopter must be at least **5 meters** above ground level.
7. **Anti-Air Ammunition Limitation for Infantry**
Reduce infantry anti-air missile capacity from **5 to 3 missiles**, reinforcing the need for tactical and coordinated use.

### **Technical Justification**
The proposed changes aim to improve balance between aircraft and ground units by encouraging pilots to adopt more tactical and cautious behavior. By increasing the relevance and threat of anti-air weaponry—especially against helicopters operating recklessly at higher altitudes—the adjustments discourage uncontrolled offensive actions and promote more strategic decision-making. These modifications seek to enhance fairness, gameplay variety, and overall competitive experience for all players.
