Add vehicle levels and loadouts.

The loadouts would be separate from your soldier class and would only apply while in a vehicle. This would really only apply to vehicles that are meant as a weapon, such as the transport chopper, attack helicopter, Humvee, or tank.

Experience Gain: Allow us to gain vehicle experience when in the relevant vehicle to unlock new loadouts for vehicles. The experience could be applied to passengers as well as long as they are actively assisting with spots or damage. (Which could be a reason to add a spot function for your gunner/passengers, such as a painter to paint an area for attack where the person who painted the area gets points if the pilot kills someone in the area or just a simple spot function where the spotter gets a bonus if the pilot/driver kills the target spotted).

Examples of loadout unlocks: Passive perks that a player might unlock could include reactive armor to protect the tank against C4 or a passive jammer that gives increased lock-on time for helicopters. There could be tradeoffs, such as in exchange for increased lock-on time, the helicopter takes more damage from explosives. Passives could even include things for when they aren't in the vehicle. Maybe a player can unlock the ability to spawn on an otherwise full tank as a third seat, allowing them to deploy by an ally vehicle.

Alternative weaponry, such as anti-personnel shells instead of high explosive rounds for tanks that change the tank shells from an impact based explosion to a wider area of effect that explodes above the enemies at the cost of losing damage against vehicles.

Alternative gearing as well, such as a spotter radar instead of flares that spots enemies near the helicopter or an active jammer that cancels any ongoing lock-ons and prevents those weapons from locking for a few seconds.

Benefit: This would allow players that specialize in vehicles to unlock additional tactical options and change how the gameplay works, such as by making it less viable for the quad C4 bombs that are so popular.

This would add more variety to the battlefield and not make taking out helicopters a "make them flare, then kill."

This could also enable opportunities for counter perks such as a helicopter using longer lock-ons could be countered by an engineer using lock-on jammer (passive) resistance.
