Change the player level number to real army ranks
Pvt, Cpl, Sgt, Lt, Capt and General. Make squads automatically promote the highest ranking squad member to team leader. Make progression hard but linear so it doesn't get boring.
Show the rank abbreviation next to the players name too when you get killed.

And finally at the end of the match, instead of just showing the scoreboard, show a podium or backdrop with the best 3 players with titles such at "most gun kills, most vehicle kills, highest objective score" that would be cool in VR, especially if they were live player characters it would make for some funny end of match moments
