Restrict Helicopter Self-Repair to Balance Gameplay
The Apache attack helicopters, especially when piloted by high-tier "sweats," are completely breaking the game balance. To even stand a chance against one, almost the entire opposing team is forced to switch to the Engineer class. It’s frustrating because even if we manage to damage it, the pilot simply retreats to a far corner of the map, repairs, and returns fully healed.
I believe the best solution would be to prevent the pilot from repairing the helicopter themselves. If only the co-pilot or passengers could perform repairs, it would mean one person has to sacrifice their combat uptime to focus on maintenance, which seems like a much fairer trade-off.
Alternatively, classes other than the Engineer need some form of anti-air secondary weapon. We already have multiple ways to deal with tanks—bazookas, C4, and mines—but options against air units are too limited.
I’m writing this because I genuinely love this game, but the helicopter dominance is starting to ruin the experience for me. I truly hope to see a fix for this soon.
