Large Urban Combat Map with Dynamic Destruction and Infantry-Centric Gameplay
If performance allows, I believe a large, dense, war torn urban map would be a strong addition to Forefront. The tactical intensity of Tunnels is fantastic, and expanding that style of close quarters combat into a full city environment could elevate the gameplay even further.
This map would combine vertical sniper positions, tight corridors for room clearing, and interior spaces where SMGs and shotguns can truly shine. At the same time, wider boulevards and central avenues would allow for intense tank focused gameplay, ideally with minimal or no helicopter presence to keep the combat grounded and infantry-centric. Destruction physics would play a major role, allowing buildings to be partially breached to dynamically change during matches.
Urban warfare has been heavily requested on Reddit and Discord, and I believe this style of map would perform very well in Conquest, and potentially in Rush or TDM as well.
From a lore perspective, this could fit naturally into the ongoing conflict. O.R.E. could have established a major Red Orpiment refinery and corporate headquarters within a wealthy global city (for example, Singapore or Dubai or some made up city). Over time, O.R.E. expanded its control over surrounding districts, effectively turning the city center into a fortified corporate stronghold.
After reports from evacuated civilians Coalition Forces launch an attack. The battle would take place across residential blocks, parks, signal towers, financial buildings, and the refinery complex itself.
I understand this would be an ambitious and technically demanding map to create, but I believe it has the potential to become a fan favourite, even if you scale it down drastically.
I hope if not this ecact suggestion, you add some form of city urban combat map in the future.
