Implement Temporary Team Balancing to Reduce One-Sided Matches
Add some form of team balancing to reduce the overwhelming amount of one-sided matches. As of right now nearly 80% of (conquest) rounds end with an over 300 point difference. This means one side was incredibly outmatched, and almost all of the time this is due to the lack of team balancing. Placing players on teams at random often leads to one side having far more skilled players by sheer luck, ending with an unbalanced and unfun match for the opposing team. This also skews player feedback on the game, as someone whos getting destroyed by a specific weapon or vehicle due to poor team balancing is more likely to call them OP since that person is dying to them incredibly often. Skilled veteran players will also take notice of team imbalances and use the Switch Team option to place themselves on the superior team to guarantee a win.
So I propose a simple, temporary balancing system to help make the game more bearable.
-Each team has a number.
-For every player to join a team, that players level is added to the teams number.
-Every kill a player got in the last round they played is also recorded, and added to the teams number
Therefore, a Lvl23 player who got 35 kills last round would have a number of 58. These numbers are then used to balance the teams. Whenever a new player joins the server, they are added to the team that has the lowest number. Simple and effective enough to carry the game until a better solution is found.
