Rebalancing Current Weaponry + New Weapon Suggestions
This is a long one, but it’s all focused on guns (balancing + suggestions, just because).
Balancing

Hello, Triangle Factory. Love the game so far, with one tiny exception: the balancing of guns. For instance, the assault class (my main) has an extremely polarized meta with the AK-esqe gun; everyone who has it uses it. Yes, while it is the “best” rifle in terms of progression, that doesn’t mean that it should make ~90% of other guns useless. It beats both shotguns in a majority of CQC fights, destroys most SMGs in mid-range, and is still better than the other meta (Steyr Aug) and a good chunk of sniper players at longer range… and it gets buffed to 34 damage from 25??? Yes, it’s likely 7.62x39 instead of 5.45x39, but still, doing the same damage as the slower, higher caliber, lower round-per-magazine SCAR L? And, another example: the FN M249. Logically, it should do good against the ARs and SMGs, especially at mid to close range, yet in the majority of even-playing-field fights, it loses. The SMGs are quicker, the ARs have better range / damage, the recoil is worse than all of the aforementioned, and yet it gets nerfed with a -50 to rate of fire? Please, make it make sense. Just because these changes aren’t listed out in the developer log doesn’t mean we don’t notice. This isn’t even mentioning the total lack of FN P90s, PP-19 Bizons, Benelli M4s, and Barrett M82s, all of which are rarely seen (if ever) because they can’t even compete with the starter weapons. Some serious balancing changes are needed. However, I’m not just going to sit here and complain; rather, I’m going to offer a practical solution to implement. Y’all have a Discord server with tens of thousands of members, so why not utilize it? Create a testing role / section, create polls, have forums where members point out issues, get community feedback, create a tester role where a sample population tests weapons and configurations in matches, etc. My point is, use us for feedback.
Attatchments

This will be brief. Aside from the need for a few more attachments (yes, I know you’ve got that handled), there is a small problem with the angled foregrip, being that it is the least useful upgrade to your weapon. It’s worse than the first unlockable foregrip, and I’m not sure if this is an error in progression order, but it’s definitely a small problem.
Suggestions for new weapons

This, too, will be brief. Here are three weapons that I think will make good additions to the game, as well as some justification.
Colt Model 1911 (Stallion .45)
This is a classic. Not only would it bridge the gap between the Desert Eagle and M9, but it would also expand on the bare-bones pistol section.
FAMAS (Trinity BP)
Allows for a three-round-burst option with greater accuracy and range, but less utility at close quarters. Increases the diversity of weapons and allows for new playstyles / overwatch roles, while still being centered at mid range combat (unlike snipers).
Ruger LC Carbine (Raider 150)
This would go to the Recons. They have the best mobility in the game, but are rarely able to use it offensively, given their arsenal. This would allow them to play more offensively, while still being most effective at range.
