Revert Recon Hold Breath System to Maintain Gameplay Balance
Please revert/change the new recon hold breath system. As someone who used to main recon but now only dabbles in it I see the pros and cons of both systems. The old one was a little simple and still allowed much room for error since you could still move your trigger hand with ease, it also didn't have any limitations on how much you could do it so newer players/people who never play recon might see it as overpowered. However I believe it still fitted as it still required some skill and practice to get down and if you did do that you were rewarded with being able to keep pace with the fast paced combat all around you. The new system is much better for hitting a single, incredibly precise shot, even if only a little bit of the enemy is peeking out, and that is great and all, but the time limit and cooldowns do not fit in an environment where everyone is moving, jumping, driving, flying, etc. The only way I could feasibly play recon is miss 70% of my shots on moving targets, then find one guy who isnt moving as much, hold breath, hit him, then go back to missing while I wait for the cooldown. Also I am aware that the old system is less "realistic" but so is a tank shooting helicopters out of the sky, this game's lack of realism and focus on chaotic combat is what makes the game fun and unique to me, it is also what convinced me to buy the game in the first place, no other game allows what you guys do. If you want more details on my perspective of the whole situation: I have, and always will main the C-Tac with the 2x scope on it, while mainly only using the red dot for shooting (even at 300+ meters) and the 2x scope itself only for occasional target acquisition if I am not sure. I am good enougb to occasionally snipe pilots out of their helicopters, usually when the guy inside of it is really annoying to deal with (I wouldnt be surprised if I have been reported multiple times for that). My style of sniping is a faster paced shots but a slightly lower accuracy rate. I would average in the 20's to 30's for kills per game. Thank you for reading, hopefully your AI doesnt mark my review as a duplicate like it did for Mark Critelli's, this concern is shared by many other recon players so I hope this can atleast be addressed.
