I believe that having a mortar for medic would be a great addition to the game. As the medic is focused heavily on support instead of frontline combat, having a mortar would fit their role perfectly, helping their team with indirect fire. I think that you could use some sort of targeting pad to aim the mortar. I don't think that it would be overpowered due to the long fire-to-impact delay.
