By default, outside of proximity chat, squad members should be push-to-talk by keying a radio grabbed on your chest. Similar to how Onward does it. The reason is that the screaming and howling children playing the game can really hamper enjoyment until you can find a squad of adults. Something has to be done about the screaming kids.
