FEATURE SUGGESTION – Custom Community Maps & Private Servers

Overview
Add private server support for PC players, allowing the community to build, share, and play on fully custom maps. Similar to Battlefield’s community map tools, players could express their creativity while contributing original content to the game. Map owners would receive built-in admin and moderation tools to manage their spaces.

Feature Breakdown

• Custom Map Creation – PC-side tools that let players design and build their own maps from scratch with full layout control.

• Private Server Hosting – Players can host their own dedicated private servers, keeping their community separate and controlled.

• Collaborative Building – Multiple players can work on a map simultaneously, so teams can build together in real time.

• Owner Admin Tools – Map owners get moderation controls like kick, ban, whitelist, and permission management for everyone in their server.

Why This Matters
Giving the community map creation tools is one of the best investments a VR shooter can make. It extends the game’s lifespan, showcases player creativity, and builds a self-sustaining content loop without requiring the devs to ship new maps every season. Games like Battlefield and Halo proved that community-made maps can become some of the most beloved content in a franchise’s history — Forefront VR has the foundation to do the same.
