Introduce a Jungle Map with Environmental Tactics and Unique Features
I think you should consider adding a jungle or forest map because it could introduce a lot of new strategies and make matches feel more unique. One of the best parts of Forefront’s maps is when the environment changes how players fight. For example, the dense layout of houses in Fjord creates a lot of natural cover and makes flanking and close-range fights more interesting. A jungle map could create a similar effect with trees, bushes, rivers, and uneven terrain giving players more ways to move around, hide, and plan attacks. Instead of always having long open fights, players could use the environment to sneak around enemies, create new routes, set up ambushes, or defend areas in different ways.
A jungle map could also have unique features like Mauritania and Iceland that make them stand out. Mauritania has things like the large crane that creates an entire sector around it, along with the sand dunes in the last sector that completely change how players move and fight. Iceland has a more open map layout but very tight compounds around each objective that create intense close-range battles. A jungle map could bring something different by having dense forest areas, rivers, cliffs, and other natural terrain that changes the flow of each objective. It could also give more reasons to use some of the less-used equipment, like the motion sensor. In a map with lots of cover and limited visibility, motion sensors could become much more useful for detecting enemies moving through dense areas, protecting flanks, or helping teams know when an attack is coming.
Smoke grenades would also work really well in a jungle setting, allowing players to cross open areas, revive teammates, charge defibrillators, or push objectives without being immediately spotted. Another possible addition could be a personal shield as a new gadget, similar to grenades, claymores, ziplines, or RPGs. The shield could give players another tactical option by letting them trade some offensive utility for more protection. It could be useful for pushing through dangerous areas, holding positions, or surviving close-range fights where enemies can appear suddenly because of the lower visibility. It would add another way for players to customize their playstyle and make more meaningful choices before entering a fight.
