Lock on Air-To-Surface munitions for the new Jet would be a life saver. I had two different munitions for consideration.

• GBU-53 or similar: An IR-guided lock on Guided Bomb Unit to destroy tanks and other hardened ground targets. The jet would be able to carry 2 of these. I believe its damage should be similar to the tank’s main gun, but slightly less, able to destroy a tank in 3 bombs or 2 plus a short cannon run. A very long reload time, (up a minute for both bombs) and a long lock on time. -AGM-179 JAGM: An IR or Millimeter-Wave radar guided missile. The jet can carry 2 of these missiles at a time, and 2 missiles can destroy any vehicle except for the MBT. A long lock on and reload time, but a very fast missile that can be ripple fired with both missiles locking at the same time.
