In substitution for the respawn beacon for the Recon class, an airstrike gadget could be unlocked. The airstrike gadget would feature a pair of binoculars that function similiar to a variable scope that could be stabalized like a sniper to help select a position to target. To select a position, the player would need to press and hold the right trigger when the reticle inside the binoculars were right where the player needed it. A ping that closely ressembled a capture point would appear blue for teamates and red for the enemy where the target was marked. The airstrike would come quickly as a powerful gatling gun with explosive bullets in a short burst from the air covering a decent but not overwhelming distance. Where the barrage comes from is entirely up to the developers but something like a plane that took inspiration from the A-10 Warthog would work perfectly. This is entirely optional but if an enemy airstrike was called near your location, the game narrator would announce it, warning you a few seconds before it hit so you can take cover. The airstrike would not damage any friendly entities and would instantly kill an on foot soldier and do mediocre damage to enemy vehicles. The airstrike gadget would have an extremely long cooldown to help midigate repeated use and make it fair for troops on foot.
