Hi - first, LOVE the game so far, the rank progression and unlocks really keep me invested. I'm mainly trying to give feedback on Forefronts weapon alignment / configuration and figured I'd start here. I have photos and diagrams available for clarification if needed and you find my info helpful and want to explore it further.

Hi - first, LOVE the game so far, the rank progression and unlocks really keep me invested. I'm mainly trying to give feedback on Forefronts weapon alignment / configuration and figured I'd start here. The QUEST controllers are really good as they are, standalone and PC version. I think they are fine as is. But the PC controllers, mainly Valve index and HTC Vive, are in need of some attention. I haven't unlocked all the weapons so I can only give info on what I have used so far.

The HTC VIVE controllers are really close as well but they need 2 adjustments in my opinion. Currently there is no option to set "grip" to toggle verse hold so it makes using these controllers almost impossible. And the default weapon angle of the "X axis" ( assuming that's what you are configured to ) or the barrel pointing up or down, is set REALLY high. You can get it leveled out by setting the angle to max ( +30 ) in your options but that leaves no room to go any farther if someone wants it down more. I would make that setting of +30 to base 0 and set that as the default angle so someone could adjust up or down if they want.

The VALVE INDEX controller are in need of some work. The "X Axis" ( barrel up / down ) is pretty good, Any the Y Axis ( looking top down ) is workable, if you wanted to get it perfect its maybe 1-2 degrees off counter clockwise if holding in your right hand. But the Z Axis ( looking from behind thru the gun at the buttstock ) is the main culprit. its off quite a bit about 10 degrees in the counter clockwise direction ( 11 - 5 position on a clock ) if holding in your right hand. I had to make a custom controller adapter for my gunstock that was 10 degrees offset to bring the guns in game back to the straight up and down 12-6 o'clock position. The other issue I'm having with the Valve Index is the main hand positioning seems to vary from gun to gun and some are really high compared to where your hand / controller is in real life. It doesn't seem consistent and it's REALLY noticeable when going from the AWM sniper to the DRAKEON. The Drakeon was very awkward to use mainly because the in game main hand position was so high.

This was the main reason I wanted to submit this suggestion, BUT while I'm here I might as well drop my other thoughts:

  • Move the grenade, I keep accidentally grabbing it when using the bolt action of the AWM

  • Under barrel grenade launcher as an unlock or upgrade for the basic grenade on certain class/es

  • The high powered scope on the AWM needs tuned, you cant see the bullet drop on long range shots due to the visual constraints so its really hard to judge your distances

  • Compass? tough to give callouts without one

That's about it, thanks again, the game is really really good.
