Allow Light Vehicles to Have Offensive Capabilities While Driven
Declined
In the current beta, only tanks and attack helicopters allow the driver to operate the vehicle and engage in combat.
Light vehicles like ATVs, boats, and jet skis require one person to drive and another to attack.
Even when sprinting on foot, players can still shoot — but not while in these vehicles.
It feels like I'm saying:
"I won't attack. Please shoot me."
Speed alone isn’t enough. Without the ability to fight back, light vehicles become easy targets and lose strategic value.
Allow the driver to shoot a sidearm (pistol/SMG) while operating light vehicles.
Alternatively, equip light vehicles with mounted weapons usable by the driver (even if limited in firepower or arc).
This would improve solo play, risk/reward balance, and make fast vehicles more enjoyable.
By assigning controller input to the vehicle’s handle, one-handed driving becomes possible.
This lets the other hand be free to aim, shoot, or throw grenades.
While heavy weapons like bolt-action rifles may be unrealistic, SMGs or pistols can work for one-handed use.
Enables solo combat while driving ATVs or jet skis, greatly expanding player options.
✅ Summary
Light vehicles feel too vulnerable without any offensive capability
Driving solo should still allow for minimal self-defense
Improving this would increase fun, flexibility, and fairness — especially for solo and small-squad players
There is no noticeable difference between assault rifles and submachine guns.
Iron sights (1x optics) are difficult to aim with, making mid-range combat practically unfeasible.
The game design favors short-range engagements, encouraging players to use fast vehicles to close distance quickly.
Shot dispersion (bullet spread) feels almost identical across all weapon types.
Attacking while riding and reloading with both hands off the controls feels immersive and cinematic.
This is especially true when imagining that vehicle control is mapped to the steering handle instead of the controller.
Long-range combat is only viable with bolt-action sniper rifles
Mid-range tactics are nonexistent, resulting in binary (short or long) engagements
Shotguns and SMGs dominate short-range, bolt-action dominates long-range
Assault rifles have no clear advantage in any range
Players often wait for large vehicles (helicopters, tanks, Humvees) after respawning.
Meanwhile, there's little to do unless you snipe with bolt-action rifles from the spawn area.
Mounted weapon pushes often feel like suicide missions rather than tactical options.
In the beta, many players seemed to enjoy driving, crashing, and fooling around with vehicles rather than team-based tactics.
Combat feels more like a chaotic sandbox than a coordinated battle.
Imagine a mode with no system voice alerts, no automated objective calls—
only player reports, minimal UI, and ambient sound.
Like a “beach flag” mode, where a single point is contested quietly.
This contrast between chaotic team battles and silent infiltration would elevate the game from shooter to immersive experience.
