Remove the thumb stick pull-back-to-crouch and make it to where you physically have to crouch down. Even if this is an accessibility issue, you could make the distance the headset has to travel to engage crouch be much less; using this as an accessibility feature would remove the range of crouching and make it an all-or-nothing option, which is still viable for those that need it while allowing those that don't to crouch by degrees, so to speak.
