Steps to Reproduce
- Enter a standard multiplayer match on Meta Quest 3.
- Equip a primary weapon and engage in combat/fire the weapon.
- After releasing the trigger, the weapon fails to stop the firing animation and sound.
- Attempt to drop the weapon or respawn; observe that the muzzle flash and sound effects persist indefinitely at the last known location.
Explanation
Issue: Weapon stuck in infinite firing loop (Audio/Visual glitch)
I am experiencing a bug where the weapon enters an infinite firing state without any trigger input. The gun continues to fire automatically even when I am not holding the trigger.
Key observations:
- Persistence: The firing effect continues even if I drop the weapon or unequip it.
- Post-death glitch: If I die while this is happening, the firing sound and visual effects continue at the location of my death.
- No Ammo Consumption: The ammunition counter does not decrease, suggesting this is a visual/audio replication glitch rather than actual gameplay firing.
- Multiplayer visibility: I have observed this issue occurring on other players' characters as well.
