Steps to Reproduce

1. Hit escape to open start menu
2. Clicked options

Explanation

when I click on the options in the start menu the game will momentarily freeze every time. no other tab in the start menu has this freezing problem. it has been this way since early access launched. i don't think it's my pc that's the problem because the rest of the game runs smooth
