Character voice is very very quiet and sounds far away even though character volume is normal

Not sure why but entering the hub seemed to make the audio extremely quiet, when I pressed V the dialogue that the character says is extremely quiet

After swapping characters, "in world" audio became extremely quiet. The menu audio was normal like when you mouse over buttons and select options, but if you opened a door, you'd hear a very quiet ...

Audio in the ship is broken - the character sounds like they are far away when they say their lines, I can't hear footsteps or doors, I can only hear the breathing sounds when running and the music.

I'm not sure if it's just the base game audio sounds or my settings but audio is pretty muffled during gameplay. I'll be able to hear my character but only very quietly and some shooting sounds but...

Voice lines in the hub sound quiet and distant

Audio is bugged, sounds very muffled/quiet and in the distance? almost like all audio except for music is being played very far away

Audio in the spacerig was very faint after changing classes. Jukebox audio is normal.
