Enhance Main Menu Design and UI Animations; Introduce Optional Loot Crates for Exploration
I wanted to share some feedback after playing Empulse. The core gameplay feels promising, but I think the presentation and in-game flow could be improved a bit to make the experience more engaging.
First, the main menu could use a redesign. Right now it feels a bit plain and not very inviting, which makes the game feel less appealing before you even start playing. A more modern layout with smoother transitions or a bit more visual identity would really help set the tone.
The current UI animations also feel a little stiff. Even small improvements like smoother easing, better transitions between tabs, or subtle motion effects could make the overall experience feel much more polished and responsive.
One idea for gameplay variety would be adding optional loot crates or randomized drops around the map. These could contain slightly better weapons or attachments and give players more reasons to explore and take risks. If balanced carefully, it could add a fun “luck-based” layer without overpowering skill-based gameplay.
Overall, I think the game has strong potential, and these changes would mainly help improve presentation and replayability rather than core mechanics.
