Addressing Device Performance Discrepancy for Balanced Gameplay
Thought experiment: Let's say mnk was stronger in this game, then console players can plug in a mouse and keyboard. If a controller is stronger than they can use a controller. Now assume again mnk is stronger, then PC players can use a mouse and keyboard. But if controller is indeed stronger, then PC players can never be on equal footing with console players because the aim assist is lower. Keep in mind console players can play at high frame rates and FOVs too. PC players are now at a fundamental disadvantage they can never overcome. Imagine if people on ps5 did better than people on xbox statistically. Should they have lower hp pools for their character to make the two devices statistically in line with each other? Hopefully a fix comes soon.
