Enhance Heavy Pistol (Opus) Headshot Impact and Mobility for Balanced Gameplay
Not a "feature" per se, rather balancing.
I love the heavy pistol (Opus) but I feel like it's falling behind the carabine-DMR (Resonance) in almost every aspect.
The Opus is a 3-shot kill to the body and still a 3-shot kill with a headshot, because with a 35 / 50 spread you need to chain two consecutive headshots for a kill, which in a game all about fast movement, is hard. Especially on a slow firing gun. Therefore making headshots feel inconsequential.
It has a slower fire rate than the Resonance, who can fire it's 4-shot body kill almost as fast (faster with the fire rate attachment) making missed shots on the Opus feel even more punishing.
On top of that the Resonance features a zoom option, which isn't a game changer but can be quite handy. The Opus doesn't have anything to set it apart. Faster movement speed while holding a pistol could be an idea.
While I feel that both guns offers a similar playstyle the Resonance outpaces the Opus in almost every regards.
To be clear, I'm not saying the Resonance should be nerfed or changed, I think it's a wonderful gun and is a blast to play, but I feel like the Opus should be buffed in some way.
For example if the headshot multiplier was higher so that any headshot make it a 2-hit kill, they would have a lot more impact.
