Implement Modding Support or Official Modding Systems for Empulse

Hi 1047 games and anyone else reading this

I wanted to ask if we could either get official modding systems or support for pre-existing UE5 modding tools that could allow for modding Empulse.

Overall modding on Empulse would be helpful for the game for a few reasons:

  1. Showcasing tech
    Developers who play the game can mod in features that they would wish to have in the game, this would in turn allow them to showcase it on places like twitter and if 1047 games likes it it could eventually be added into the game. (ie showcasing with actual gameplay is better then just saying something through text)

  2. Modding makes games last longer
    This is shown for games like minecraft where the game would definitely not have been as relevant, as it is now if it wasnt for custom servers like hypixel or mods like the create mod. (hypixel is vanilla, but uses plugins there for its a custom server even if you don’t have to download anything)

  3. Modding is a selling point
    If a game is moddable it can be used in advertisements to showcase the possibilities of the game (see for example: Fortnite, Gmod or any Valve game)

  4. Why not “The Lab” from Splitgate Arena Reloaded
    While i personally love The Lab i think it was overall limited in the same way that most level editors are (however the lab would still be incredible for overall for map creation as most of the limitations i mention are not map related)
    modding would allow things like:
    custom ui, custom gamemodes, custom weapons, abilities, perks and more
    (minecraft modding showcases what is possible (to see minecrafts possibilities just search up doctor4t on youtube))

I.e modding would be incredible for Empulse even if not with official systems but instead like minecraft with community created tools.
