Explanation

So I was trying to get the legion intelligence to get blightsurger, but when I talked to the NPC it gave me imperium kata and then refused to give me the intelligence. I tried rejoining, and it did not fix the issue.

Unfortunately I don't have a clip of me actually getting the fighting style, I only have this as recording of the bug:
