that wouldn't be the case if the game was "balanced" because over half of the enchants in deepwoken get outclassed and are relatively unused

i genuinely dont know how aiming hasnt been fixed yet everything goes up
it has many uses? if your using a weapon with a bad crit then just use stormbreaker on it to get the effects of storm in rain but in any situation and stormbreaker crit is hella versatile (in the 20% chance that it functions right) in 1v1s
motifs exist now so the argument of "bad crit just use stormbreaker" isnt nearly as good also it doesnt really do good posture damage

storm has a special effect where it strikes lightning down on m1 but its only active in the rain, stormbreaker has that passive always active even if it isn't raining
are u talking about how it does thundercall damage on m1 or does it actually strike them with lightning
if stormbreakers m1 actually strike them with lightning outside of rain that might be a bug or a shadow buff

The enchant was reworked a few months ago to be "more consistent" which changed how the aiming and hitbox works
also made you fully action stunned during the throw (no parrying)

and the hit reg is bugged and the stun and about a dozen other things

you still cant swap weapons when using stormbreaker (bug from before rework) because the enchant critical gets forced onto anything you equip

They should do while the weapon flies u can do whatever u want but u do like 10 fist dmg

i always lose a bar at the very least whenever i miss the crit π
can be boosted by raging static and ardour to do around 25% on the off chance that you actually hit the crit
Yeah cuz its a whole a** 2 second of no parry
it does set damage like around 50~ (8% on average)
I used to run stormbreaker on 0 wep builds to have a ranged low cd good dmg crot
they should let you recall the crit early and let you guide it when it comes back to you (so when it comes back you can guide it to hit someone on it's way back
have u tried aiming it in first person idk if that actually works but it makes other aiming consistent
The issue isnt just that its that your weapon is locked for a random duration (the projectile loves to bug out)
the old version didnt have this issue because on return the projectile would still fling enemies away (it had an actual hitbox)
now the return hitbox no longer applies any stun or knockback it just does damage (im pretty sure it doesnt even do the full damage)
no point its not practical to go into first person during chime
it just strikes them with lightning that doesn't do too much damage and has no hitstun
If they jus make return faster and give u parry then its fine

the nice part is that it does have some amount of hyper armor on the end of the crit so you can pop it to someone using a gap closer and even if you get hit they still tank hella dmg
it does which is why its so s***
i think the best fix would be to let you press R or whatever the crit button you prefer to recall it on demand instead of waiting for it to hit some random geometry in space
have the recall projectile be way faster and apply hitstun so the enemy actually has to pay attention to it instead of just blindly rushing you as soon as its out
Or just press r to instantly teleport it to ur hand would be a huge buff
It currently has a timeout actually thats how it comes back most of the time since its still very buggy
If its out for long enough the projectile will just timeout entirely and you wont even get to hit a return projectile
but that lost loses all the flavor of being a boomerang weapon
stormbreaker also has a chance to make your weapon just completly invisible when it comes back
at least it doesnt unequip it anymore

maestro is a game boss, they usually didn't really tell us the bosses names back when he was released, and even so they usually do tell us specifically whenever they make a major change to an enchant that has to do with functionality or balancing

cant parry cant dodge cant move cant attack cant block return projectile doesnt stun or knockback enemies
literally completely locked into a guaranteed hit if you didnt hit the immediate ground in front of you because the weapon going to max range = 3 seconds of stun
if thats intended that thats an awful way to "balance" something considering how many other things in this game throw out an active hitbox thats bigger and more consistent while also not locking you into a commital 3 seconds of self stun
Thats ofc overlooking the like 15 bugs this enchant has that make it bug out or fling into orbit (guaranteeing this will happen at least once per fight if you're using your crit with any consistency)(

No, its currently not a mechanic, but thats probably what they will do
