Not really no, the ferryman get stunned if you parry all 3 hits, the way it count is prob due to the parry stun, and drifter dodges, if you dodge the move or get hit, you don't get to hit him, even on pathfinder.
Might I add, the "parry" on drifter is a dodge, not a parry, you can't parry as drifter, you press F to dodge. Tryin pressing F on a dodge only move it will work

its not a dodge because you can get guard broken while using it
if it was a true dodge, I wouldnt be guard broken here
iirc this is just like every mechanic is working correctly but they didn't anticipate this interaction

It isn't since it counts as a dodge, and you get guard broken as you would on a parry because it gives block frames at the end of it since it's F that is being pressed, which is d*** on drifter, I will agree with that absolutely as I also use drifter as best I can.
at the end of what? I got guard broken at the beggining of the parry frames (or "dodge" frames)
its neither a dodge nor a parry, its somewhere in between, combining the worst aspects of both into 1 mechanic

block frames are all over the parry, not just at the end

It is indeed dodge-able with the dodge parry thing tho. Which is why they probably should get rid of the block frames on that dodge
correct, interactions that could not be foreseen and were never wanted are bugs

Yea, I was able to do it, I can't make a clip to prove it right now as I'm not home, but I was able to dodge the grab of an owl, Sharko kick, moss knight pillar and kick, and shogun red attacks
i think of a bug as a mechanic or something else not working correctly in this case everything works fine, its just that they didn't anticipate this specific situation
If I can I'll make a clip later, the timing is a bit weird
I mean yea but there's a difference betwene a bug that inherently came from the game not working properly and a bug that came from the game being poorly designed
