A&E: Under Pressure
Welcome to the private testing programme for A&E: Under Pressure.
As a tester, you'll get access to upcoming versions of the game before they're released publicly. You'll be able to try new features, systems and changes, find bugs, and help improve updates before everyone else gets them.
Once you join the testing programme, you'll be sent a private itch.io access key within 24 hours.
Your key will give you access to the A&E: Under Pressure Testing Department, where the latest browser-based testing build will be available.
Please do not share your access key with anyone else.
Testing builds may contain:
- New and unreleased features
- Experimental systems
- New patient conditions and presentations
- Changes to patient flow and balancing
- UI changes
- Bug fixes
- Features that aren't quite finished yet
- Bugs that I haven't found yet ๐ญ
Testing builds are not stable releases, so things may occasionally break.
That's why you're here!
Please submit all bugs and testing feedback through BetaHub.
If something goes wrong, try to include:
- The build/version you were playing
- What you were doing
- What you expected to happen
- What actually happened
- The affected patient or department area, if relevant
- Screenshots where possible
- Whether refreshing fixed the problem
Even if you're not completely sure something is a bug, feel free to report it.
Testing places are intended for people who actively help test upcoming versions of the game.
You don't need to constantly find bugs, and there's no minimum number of reports you have to submit.
However, testers who remain inactive for a long period of time and don't submit any reports or useful feedback may be removed from the testing programme to make room for new testers.
If everything is working perfectly, that's fine too. Feedback about things that work well or areas that could be improved is still useful.
- Don't share your private itch.io testing key
- Don't redistribute testing builds
- Report testing issues through BetaHub
- Remember that unfinished features may change before release
- Please give genuine feedback rather than submitting reports just to remain active
A&E: Under Pressure is a real-time simulation of a busy UK emergency department.
Patients arrive, are triaged, assessed, investigated and treated while the department deals with staffing, clinical capacity, ambulances, hospital beds, admissions and increasing pressure.
The game is an educational simulation. All patients are fictional, clinical pathways are simplified, and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NHS or any other healthcare organisation.
Every bug found here is one less bug everyone else gets on release day.
Your department. Your hospital. Your opportunity to break something before everyone else does. ๐ญ
