The final beta before the public v1.2 release.

Beta 3 is a major stability and simulation update containing the final round of fixes discovered during testing.

• Clinical areas now enforce their actual physical capacity
• Added proper Resus surge and step-down behaviour
• Fixed Ambulance Divert not appearing at 75% Resus capacity
• Major hospital bed flow and boarding improvements
• Fixed patients waiting excessively for clinicians due to exit block
• Clinicians are now reserved before patients are called
• "Called to clinical area" transfers are capped at 4 minutes
• Fixed already-seen patients incorrectly returning to the clinical queue
• Fixed patients becoming permanently stuck on "Reassessment required"
• Existing saves containing stranded reassessment patients are automatically repaired
• Fixed custom ward capacities not applying to the live simulation
• Fixed incorrect "Waiting to be seen" statistics
• Improved age and presentation suitability when generating patients

• Fixed scenarios failing to generate their promised additional patients
• Improved scenario-specific patient case mixes
• MCI patients now properly favour relevant trauma presentations
• Influenza and heatwave scenarios now produce more appropriate cases
• Chaos Mode continues to generate all 500 patients
• Redesigned the scenario menu with clearer loads, difficulties and status information

• Fixed the catch-up screen appearing stuck on "Preparing..."
• Restored visible loading progress
• Restored ETA information
• Improved handling of blocked or stalled browser storage
• Added loading stages while rebuilding saved departments
• Improved compatibility with older saves
• Added additional protection against loading freezes and unresponsive pages

• Fixed the top navigation wrapping onto two rows
• Header now remains a single row across normal desktop resolutions
• Improved scenario popup layout
• Improved Resus capacity display to show normal bays and surge spaces separately

The automated test suite has now reached 89 passing tests, alongside dedicated simulation probes for:

• patient flow
• clinical capacity
• staffing
• wards and boarding
• reassessment
• scenarios
• waiting times
• catch-up/loading
• browser layout

This is the final planned v1.2 beta build.

The public v1.2 release is being brought forward as an emergency release and is currently planned for midnight tonight, going into 25 September.
