Steps to Reproduce

load into my plot where Tom is stuck in front of my house.
interact with Tom.
leave and rejoin the game.
return to the same plot.
Tom is still standing in the same place and does not leave.

Explanation

Tom has been stuck at my plot for almost a year!! (or more!)

heyy! I’m having a bug with the NPC Tom.
what happens is that Tom has been permanently standing in front of my house for almost a year! normally, he should leave after interacting with him, but mine never does! I have already tried everithing, like talking to him repeatedly, changing servers, using different plots, creating new houses, and so much more things and methods…

nothing has made him disappear from my plot! he simply stays there every time I load my house! this has been happening for almost a year - like I already said, so I believe the NPC may be permanently stuck on my plot.
could you please help me fix this or reset Tom’s position on my plot??
