Steps to Reproduce

1. In build mode, copy an item
2. Check if the copied item is visible or missing
3. If the item is visible but cannot be moved, note this behavior
4. If the item is present and disappears when pressing cancel, note this behavior

Explanation

Its a build mode bug thats somewhat irritating and confusing
