Disappearing New Items and Performance Issues in Build Mode

Steps to Reproduce

1. Place new item
2. Item disappears
3. Place an item
4. Item becomes unmovable
5. I crash out
6. I write to you

Explanation

New items, specifically those from the recently added rustic furniture and elderly people updates, are disappearing after I place them. Ever since the new build mode options update has come out, building has been especially hard due to slow performance when placing objects. Some of my objects are place upon surfaces I didn’t place them on and I am unable to delete them. When I have placed items they just show a loading icon and I can never place them.
