Explanation

When I get out of a vehicle and then get back into it, it kills my character and sends me back to my plot.

Also, in Build Mode, when I select an item I want to place, the placement/movement icon doesn’t appear the first time. I have to cancel the item and then select it again for the controls to show up. This usually happens when I select a new category. I’m a mobile player.
