Contact Avatar Color Change and Add to Favorites Feedback Issue

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go into the phone application
2. Manually add a contact
3. Try to change the contact's avatar color
4. Observe that the avatar color is brown regardless of the color set
5. Click the 'Add to Favorites' button
6. Verify that there is no feedback when adding to favorites, especially if only one contact is present

Explanation

in the phone app while adding a new contact setting avatar colour does not work, as well as adding them to favorites gives no feed back.

also off topic but the remove mask doesn't seem to work
