Enhanced Controller Binding Options for Improved Gameplay

Improved Binds for Controller The current binds for inputs are very limited. Not to mention the "Chord" bind that doesn't bind well most of the time and usually leads to accidental equipment deploys and portal placements. Improving the options with the options to set the binds as Press, Hold, or Double Tap, would make the binds very comfortable for more players. The current system is very limited, resulting in a lot of the binds to be reworked or moved completely to fit new ones. A great example of this is individual portal placements and closing. Meaning what was originally 2 buttons now becomes 4 buttons and can be a mess to set up. With the system that is similar to Destiny 2's binds, this would allow 2 buttons to be condensed into 1 or even 3 into 1 if people want that. For examples: - Having your Equipment as Press on Left Bumper but have Faction Ability as Hold on Left Bumper. - When having classic controls for double portals (Left/Right Bumper), having their individual closing inputs on Hold to condense the 4 separate inputs into 2. - Pressing Y/Triangle to change weapons but Hold the input to inspect weapon. Additionally having a split input for "Interact" and "Pick up weapon" would be nice to solve issues with trying to pick up objectives like Splitballs when weapons are nearby. - Interact only picks up Objectives or opens chests or air drops as priority over pick up but also is Press. - Pick up weapon would be Hold and only works on items the player can pick up and utilize in gameplay.
