### **5. Inventory and Pickup System Rework**
**Proposed Changes**:
* **Expanded Inventory Drop**:
* All carried items, including perks and grenades, can be dropped via radial menu or hotkey (e.g., ALT + click).
* **Automatic Perk Pickup**:
* When within X units of a perk, player auto-collects if perk slot is available.
* If perk of same type is equipped but of lower tier, system replaces it automatically.
* **Weapon Auto-Swap**:
* When looking directly at a weapon of the same class with a higher rarity:
* Auto-swaps after 0.75s hover (can be toggled off in settings).
* Transfers current ammo pool (primary only).
* Visual cue: Quick glow + small particle line showing ammo transfer.
**Fail Safes**:
* Doesn’t swap if player is in combat or moving.
* Ammo transfer respects max mag limits.

**Type**: Close-range area denial energy weapon.
**Stats (Sample)**:
* **Range**: 10m cone
* **Damage per tick**: 12 per 0.1s (120 DPS)
* **Fuel Capacity**: 100 units, burns 5/sec (20s continuous fire)
* **Reload/Fuel Recharge**: 3s
* **Effect**: Applies ignite debuff for 2s after contact (burns for 20 total damage)
**Weapon Behavior**:
* No headshot multiplier.
* Bypasses shields if direct contact sustained.
* Applies screen blur and heatwave effect to enemies.

* **Textures**: 256x256 or lower

* **Particles**: Reduced count & alpha
* **Draw Distance**: Halved for all non-essential meshes
* **Animation Complexity**: Disable physics-based cloth/hair
