Steps to Reproduce

  1. Use Linux with GE-Proton, Proton Experimental or Proton 9 with an NVIDIA GPU (if that adds anything to help).
  2. Set the environment variables for the launch commands:
  3. __NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1
  4. __VK_LAYER_NV_optimus=NVIDIA_only
  5. __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=nvidia
  6. DXVK_FILTER_DEVICE_NAME=NVIDIA
  7. Use the following command to launch the game: %command%

Explanation

Don't know if this is EXACTLY a bug but my inputs feel VERY laggy, across both mouse and keeb, and also controller. Confirmed in other games this is limited to splitgate.

There is a solid 150-250 ms response latency between my inputs and the game. I have confirmed, No frame gen, no upscalling, and Nvidia reflex both off and on.

I am a Linux user, tried proton experimental and GE proton and proton 9. The game initially wasn't using my GPU so i used some launch commands which forced it to run on my GPU, so that was working fine.

Relaunching the game doesnt help either. Tried Overwatch 2 with the same commands and it doesnt give me any lag there, so maybe its a splitgate issue and not a proton issue.

Otherwise id like to slip in some praise and say im liking the direction y'all are going in. Keep it up! (just fix the input latency pls lmao)
