Steps to Reproduce
- Uncertain-
- Load into a controlled match with a party of at least 2 on side A
- Have side A party members maintain open voice channels
- Confirm side B hears side A party members comms at endgame screen
- Have side B time out to main menu
- Check if side B continues hearing side A party comms
- Have side A party begin a new match
- Check if side A party is maintaining active voice sessions outside the active match
Explanation
Endgame allchat voice session failed to terminate after returning to main menu.
Had a weird issue after one round where the endgame voice session to an opposing party from a previous round stayed active LONG after the match ended. Has only happened once in ~30hrs played but weird enough that I figured I'd report it anyway.
I was playing solo, no party, no external voice comms, no external streams, no audio sources bar Splitty. Got to endgame screen and heard comms from the opposing team. Went afk for a while, came back to find I was still hearing their comms despite having me having timed out to the main menu, and them being in another match. I queued up, and the comms channel closed at some point while loading in to the new match.
Unfortunately not heaps more info than that, however the opposing party seemed very active on comms for the bit that I heard at end of round before afking, so wondering if the voice backend may be preserving a channel that's active beyond match boundaries / across gamestate transitions? And/Or if there's state cleanup that happens loading into a new match which doesn't happen when timing out to main menu (and new match state cleanup doesn't clear prev-match voice sessions)?

It also continued to the main menu and only stopped when I closed the game. Though I didn't wait to see if it would stop on its own.
