Custom Game Modes Fail to Load and Launch Correctly

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Custom Games
2. Select a game mode and modify several of its settings
3. Save the custom mode
4. Load the saved mode
5. Try starting the match
6. Alternatively, load the saved mode, change one or more settings, and then attempt to start the match

Explanation

There seem to be multiple issues with Custom Games and saved custom modes.

Issues:

Saved custom modes do not always work when loaded.
If you load a saved mode and change some of the settings, the custom game may no longer start.
Changing settings within certain game modes can cause the lobby to get stuck or prevent the match from launching entirely.
Some game modes appear to not work at all in Custom Games, even without making major changes.
In some cases, the settings appear to save correctly, but loading the saved mode does not behave the same as when the mode was originally created.
