Wi-Fi Connection Issues in Splitgate 2, No Issues on Hotspot

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Join a game on your Spectrum connection
  2. Observe immediate disconnection
  3. Join a game on your Verizon hotspot
  4. Observe that the issue disappears

Explanation

Constantly getting disconnected from every gamemode on my wi-fi, but when I use a hotspot I am able to play the game just fine with no disconnection error. I'm not sure if my internet is being spotty and the game has no way of actively seeking out a connection when it comes back up.

This disconnection happens on every gamemode, sometimes I get a good minute of gameplay and I'm kicked with the error "Your connection to the server was lost"
