Persistent Anticheat Software Running After Game Closure Causes Launch Error

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open launcher via steam
2. Error "game is already running"

Explanation

SG2 gives an error 9/10 times when I try to open the game. Splitgate 2- Launcher error "Game is already running". Whenever I close the game, I notice that in task manager, the anticheat software is still running in the background, using quite a bit of ram for a 32 GB moderate to high-end rig. Also, when trying to end the task, it never ends.

Things I have done to remedy this
Verify files (works approximately 7/10 times, often have to do it 3 times.
Restart PC
