Steps to Reproduce

  1. I cannot produce this at will, it only seems to happen via a respawn in game.
  2. I'm using linux via proton on steam to play the game.
  3. I'll provide some sample screen shots (don't have video).
  4. I wrote this up in discord as player-support ticket-4172, also, but was advised to write it here also.

Explanation

The player view is moved to the eyes in the middle or below the torso (or perhaps face mask) of the particular uniform, where the surface of the skin itself is obstructing the player view. It's like a 3rd party view, but from inside the suit. not good.

Summary: unable to see because my viewpoint switched in the middle of play to a view behind the skin itself. In other words, my view of the playing field was occluded by my own armor due to the viewport being in the middle of the hypersuit skin as opposed to at eye-level.

the one named meridian has a date and time stamp. I don't recall which meridian skin I was wearing at the time (i.e. I don't recall the name). This one covers nearly all the visible area. Not sure... I think this might have been Kage

It looks like a view from the throat vs eye-level on kage. about the same on the greta attachment, also

This looks like my ticket is a duplicate of bug #232 (https://app.betahub.io/projects/pr-2055671118/issues/232). Guy there posted a video, but that's pretty much what I was seeing

Here's the link to the clip: https://medal.tv/games/splitgate-2/clips/krY28UZE9JZgrhEOt?invite=cr-MSxMM3UsNjE3MjcwMzc

if you want to close this as a duplicate of #232, that's fine. Please mention that's why it's being closed though. (I am watching the other)
