Explanation
dont know how to reproduce the problem because im not sure when it started. At some point i heard a constant chirp-like sound, something between a cricket and a squeaky wheel. Thought its a bit of a annoying ambience sound but after half an hour it got so annoying. it wouldnt go away no matter if im in the main menu, load one save load another save or whatever. thought it was a feature, but it got so annoying i tried restarting the game. chirping gone. its a sound and didnt think the game restart would help so i didnt record it :// unrelated screenshot as the field is necessary
